Merry Christmas!

We had a beautiful and blessed Christmas this year! I hope everyone reading this did too! Here are a few pictures of our wild and crazy Christmas morning. We were so lucky to have my Mom and Gordy with us to celebrate.

Santa Claus is coming to town

This year Santa made an appearance at our local toy store downtown so we made our annual visit last weekend. Notice there are no photos of Nanette on his lap! She cried, well, screamed, actually. Katie and Carter had written lists and were well prepared. Carter's list hasn't changed from last year: x-box, motorcycle and paintball gun. Maybe Santa will be more understanding about his wants than his mom and dad are.


The snow here has not melted for several days, but we could use a dusting of fresh, white pretty stuff. Nanette likes going out for a very little while. She has no tolerance for mittens and once they're ripped off, her little gets get so red and cold that she has to come in after just a bit.

Land of Gingerbread

Thanks Grandma Cooke for the cool Gingerbread house kit! We had a great time decorating. It's now up and out of reach for Nanette, as she enjoys pulling the candy off the house.
